RED VEST NEWS

 

Arrangements have been made with Gail Hall and Tammy Brookshire at "A Stitch in Time" (508 E. Denman--next to Lufkin Junior High) to sew the Cub Scout Red Vest for $8.00.  The red duck cloth fabric should be purchased from Hobby Lobby.  You should only need 1/2 yard for the vest.  Take the fabric and your scout to "A Stitch in Time" where they will measure your scout to fit.  Mon. - Fri. from 9:00am to 5:30.  (closed from 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch) 639-3707.  These vests are patterned after the felt red vest offered through the Cub Scout catalog and are a great way to display your Scout's patches and pins.  They are worn over the official uniform or Pack T-shirt.
